Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq Secures Lease for Law Firm in Minnesota Center
Monroe Moxness Berg PA Set to Move into 18,000-Sq.-Ft. Location in Mid-November
MINNEAPOLIS (August 6, 2013) — Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq (C&W/NorthMarq) represented LNR-owned Minnesota Center in securing an 18,000 sq. ft. lease for the Bloomington-based legal firm of Monroe Moxness Berg PA. Located at 7760 France Avenue South, Bloomington, Minnesota Center is a 276,435 sq. ft. Class A multi-tenant office building that is currently 75 percent occupied with the addition of the 50-person law firm. Monroe Moxness Berg will relocate from Normandale Lake Office Park to Minnesota Center in mid-November 2013.
“Monroe Moxness Berg is very excited about the upcoming move,” said Dennis Monroe, the firm’s co-founder and chairman. “After 10 years at 8000 Norman Center Drive, it was time to create an office environment for the future, with state-of-the-art facilities. The new location reflects our commitment to remaining in the Twin Cities’ Southwest corridor. It provides easy access to our local clients, while its proximity to the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport will help us serve our clients throughout the nation. With 30 years of unparalleled service behind us, we are now set for 30 more.”
According to C&W/NorthMarq’s senior director Connie L. Doran, who represented Minnesota Center, the property will undergo capital improvement projects in the property’s first floor common areas this year. “Minnesota Center is a first-class facility in a convenient location,” says Doran. “Since C&W/NorthMarq began leasing and property management of the building in late 2011, we have secured leases for nearly 78,000 sq. ft.”
