​Second Lease in Roseville for Future Store

MINNEAPOLIS (June 26, 2012) — Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq (C&W/NorthMarq) www.cushwakenm.com secured a nearly 13,500 sq. ft. lease for DestinationXL®, a new men’s big & tall clothing retailer, in the former Border’s location at Bonaventure, 1501 Plymouth Rd. Minnetonka, Minn. 55305. Ronn Thomas, vice president at C&W/NorthMarq, represented DestinationXL in its site selection and evaluation.

DestinationXL opened May 1 and is a part of Casual Male Retail Group, Inc., the largest specialty retailer of big and tall men’s apparel, with retail operations in the United States and London, England and direct businesses throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. In addition to DestinationXL, Casual Male Retail Group Inc. operates, through its subsidiaries, under the trade names of Casual MaleXL®, Casual MaleXL Outlets, Rochester Clothing, B&T Factory Direct™, ShoesXL® and LivingXL®.

This is the first Minnesota location for DestinationXL (ninth opening this year to-date) and the 25th location nationwide. A second lease for 8,910 sq. ft. has been signed for a DestinationXL retail location at Rosedale Commons shopping center in Roseville, Minn., one of 26 scheduled to be opening throughout the United States by year end, adding to last year’s 16 DestinationXL openings. Within five years, Casual Male Retail Group expects to have 210 DestinationXL stores nationwide.
